Motorists are being urged to avoid the Humber Bridge where possible tonight.
The warning from Humberside Police comes after a crash on the northbound carriageway, which is currently down to one lane.
Emergency services are at the scene. A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Please be aware that emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the Humber Bridge (A15 northbound).
“At this time it is down to one lane. There is heavy traffic in the area leading up to Elsham. Please avoid the area where possible.”
