Hull KR feature more times than any other Super League club.

The BBC has released its first eight Super League broadcast selections for the 2026 season, with Castleford Tigers’ home clash against Wigan Warriors chosen to launch the new season’s coverage.

Matt Peet’s Wigan will travel to The Jungle on Sunday, February 15, with the 3:00pm kick-off streamed live on BBC iPlayer.

The 2026 campaign marks the final year of a three-season broadcast agreement between RL Commercial and BBC Sport, which guarantees 15 games per year across BBC platforms – 10 on network television and five on BBC iPlayer/BBC Sport.

Hull KR, the reigning Super League champions, are set to receive the most exposure in the first half of the season. Their World Club Challenge showdown with Brisbane Broncos will be shown live on BBC Three from the MKM Stadium on Thursday, February 15, as well as Sky Sports.

Willie Peters’ side will then appear twice more in the first half of the season – more than any other club – with televised matches against Catalans Dragons (Round 5) and Wakefield Trinity (Round 13)

Warrington Wolves, Leigh Leopards, Toulouse Olympique, Bradford Bulls, Leeds Rhinos, Huddersfield Giants and St Helens will also feature with coverage of the first half of the season revealed. Only Hull FC and York are not included in the first batch of confirmed BBC picks.

The Good Friday derby between Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos is scheduled for BBC iPlayer, while the BBC are to confirm their final selections later in the 2026 season, which usually includes a play-off tie.
