BBC Look North news anchor struggled to contain himself
What began as a light-hearted request about the timing of people decorating for Christmas brought on the giggles for Peter Levy. A comment by the BBC Look North presenter had him fits, when he realised what he had said, and the reaction has gone viral.
Asking people to get in touch about when they put their Christmas tree up, Peter told viewers: “Mine’s only a small one, but it did go up this weekend.” The presenter could barely finish the segment for laughing, trying to explain he meant his Christmas tree, and hurriedly attempting to move on, saying: “How do you decide when to open the box of decorations?”, and adding: “It’s worse when people are laughing.”
The festive blooper has gone viral, provoking thousands of likes and comments from social media users. One person said: “This is hilarious – always brightens my day.”
Another person said: “Love this man. Just so funny.” A further comment posted read: “That first guffaw! Love him, he is infectious!”
