

A man has been charged in connection with an alleged acid attack in Hull.
Humberside Police said officers were called to an argument between two men who knew each other in Castleton Avenue at about 13:00 GMT on Sunday where a corrosive substance was allegedly thrown in the face of one of the men.
He was taken to hospital to receive treatment to injuries to his face “which are not thought to be life-changing at this time”, the force added.
Liam Best, 21, of Cropton Road in Hull, has been charged with throwing a corrosive fluid with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of Class C drugs.
