Hull KR are preparing for a huge 2026 season!
Hull KR’s title-defence preparations begin next week, with the first group of players set to report back for training ahead of the 2026 Super League season.
The Robins celebrated their best-ever campaign last year after claiming every major trophy on offer – the League Leaders’ Shield, Challenge Cup and Super League title – in an unprecedented season in East Hull.
Having claimed glory at Old Trafford with a 24-6 victory over Wigan Warriors on October 11, training resumes just over a month later at Sewell Group Craven Park on Monday, November 24.
International players are expected to return at a later date in December, with their season only recently concluding.
Trio Mikey Lewis, Joe Burgess and Jez Litten all featured for England in the Ashes series but were unable to prevent a 3-0 whitewash against world champions Australia on home soil.
Stand-off Tyrone May earned a late call-up to Samoa’s squad in the Pacific Championships down under, while Rhyse Martin represented Papua New Guinea. The goal-kicking back-rower scored in wins over Fiji and the Cook Islands in Port Moresby.
Arthur Mourgue helped France secure their place at next year’s Rugby League World Cup in Australia and Papua New Guinea, following a 36-0 win over Jamaica, with the Hull KR full-back adding eight points from the kicking tee.
Talented youngster Louix Gorman was also part of Ireland’s extended squad for the double-header against Wales. The 20-year-old outside-back previously captained Ireland Under-19s in the 2022 European Championships.
Next year’s Super League fixtures are set to be revealed next week on Thursday, November 27, while the Robins are preparing for a blockbuster February featuring the World Club Challenge and the Las Vegas showpiece clash against Leeds Rhinos at Allegiant Stadium.
The new season is expected to begin on February 12, while the Challenge Cup Third Round tie will take place the week before as Super League clubs enter the prestigious competition.
