Hull KR have signed French international Jordan Dezaria from Catalans Dragons on a three-year deal, with the prop forward replacing Eribe Doro at Sewell Group Craven Park
Hull KR have announced the acquisition of French international Jordan Dezaria, with the prop penning a three-year deal.
The 28 year old joins from Catalans Dragons and represents a long-standing target for Willie Peters, who had previously attempted to bring the forward to the club earlier during his tenure as Robins head coach.
His arrival follows the exit of Eribe Doro, who has rejoined Bradford Bulls after spending one season at Sewell Group Craven Park.
Dezaria brings considerable experience, having made 88 Super League appearances throughout his career.
“I’m really happy to join Hull KR,” he said. “I’ve followed the club’s progress over the past few years and I’m really happy to be linking up with them.
“It’s a team with a lot of ambition and it’s great to be a part of that. I want it to keep going and help the team win more trophies over the next few years. It was an easy decision. Me and Willie have a similar vision of rugby league. I like how Hull KR play. It’s a very good opportunity.
“I can’t wait to play at Sewell Group Craven Park and play in the Derby. To me it’s one of the biggest derbies in rugby league. “.
Hull KR head coach Willie Peters added: “We’re pleased to welcome Jordan to Hull KR. Jordan is a player that caught my eye when I first arrived. He’s played exceptionally well against us on a number of occasions.
“I believe he will add to our pack and I’m looking forward to seeing Jordan go to another new level here at Hull KR.”
