The forward has secured his future for 2026.
Ajahni Wallace has secured a new permanent contract with Toulouse Olympique following his departure from Hull KR, with his sights still set on making his Super League debut.
The 22-year-old Jamaica international has penned a new deal until the end of the 2026 season, just days after Toulouse’s return to the top flight was confirmed.
He arrived at Sewell Group Craven Park ahead of the 2024 season from Bradford Bulls, but failed to make a senior appearance under Willie Peters. He was one of 10 players to officially depart Rovers at the end of 2025.
The French outfit will help form part of an expanded 14-team competition next year, alongside York Knights. Bradford have also replaced Salford Red Devils via IMG’s rankings and gradings.
Wallace made the move to Toulouse initially on loan midway through the 2025 campaign from the Robins, and he went on to make nine appearances for the club in the Championship.
“When I heard that Toulouse wanted to sign me for the season earlier this year, I was excited,” he said. “I still feel the same way about staying for another year.
“I’m excited about the challenges ahead, especially with the promotion to Super League. I’m also excited about it because I know that if I work hard, I’ll improve as a player and as a person, and I hope to make my Super League debut, which has been my goal since I started taking rugby seriously.”
Toulouse head coach Sylvain Houles commented: “It took Ajahni a period of adaptation at the beginning of his Toulouse adventure, but as soon as he knew how to seize his opportunity, he showed us his ability to beat defenders, to bring us impact, speed, and his desire to wear the Toulouse jersey.
“We are therefore very happy that he is staying with us because after a full off-season with us, we can’t wait to see how far we can take him.”
