Hull FC were edged out 26-22 by Catalans.
Hull FC were defeated 26-22 by Catalans Dragons on Thursday night. Here are the ratings.
Logan Moy – Was under pressure all night from some towering Catalans kicks. Stood tall with some but also made one or two costly errors. Still, it was a brave display and the young full-back was a threat with his running game. 6
Harvey Barron – Scored two first half tries – the second a lethal exhibition of his raw pace. One dropped ball led to a Catalans try, which he’ll be disappointed with, but overall, it was a strong display full of tough carries. 8
Tom Briscoe – Quick thinking to release Barron from a tap 20. Opportunist. Did well. 6
Lewis Martin – A rare error from the winger in yardage, but he continued to battle hard and scored two late tries to take his Super League tally to 25 for the season. 32 in all competitions from 30 games. Outstanding return. 8
Callum Kemp – The teenager had his moments. Cruelly came up with the final error at the end. But one of several young Hull players that can hold his head up high. 6
Aidan Sezer – Played the end of the season tough, battling through the pain barrier. He gave it everything. He’s had a superb first year at Hull and chanced his arm until the very end. 7
Yusuf Aydin – The forward played big minutes and tried his best to swing the fight in the middle of the field Hull’s way. 6
Amir Bourouh – Back in the side after suspension. He played on the edge but also showed he can be dangerous when he gets quick play of the balls with one or two dummy half runs. 6
Liam Watts – Strong carries and was an effective middle link in attack, looking to keep Hull’s play alive. The old warhorse gave it everything in what has been an impressive end-of-season stint after injury. 8
Zak Hardaker – Set up the first try with a kick for Barron. Shook off countless tackles. He’s just relentless. 8
Jordan Lane – Almost scored in the first half but was held up. Ran some good lines and looked to link with Sezer in what was his final Hull appearance. 6
Brad Fash – Did his all to try and get Hull on top. Battled and battled. 6
Cade Cust – Came on at hooker and looked to get Hull moving. 6
Will Gardiner – Tried his best to keep Hull going forward in what was also his last appearance for the club. 6
Denive Balmforth – Played in the middle when he came on. Tried to make an impact as Hull chased the game. 6
Matty Laidlaw – Ran hard and put himself about in what has been an encouraging end to the season. 6
