Plans to transform part of Hull’s Prospect Centre into a hotel have been submitted.
The proposed 71-room hotel would be located on the corner of Prospect Street and Brook Street, with the rooms spread across three floors.
Proposals also include alterations to the building’s exterior, including the windows.
The plans have been submitted to Hull City Council.
The proposed hotel, which does not include provision for parking “due to its central location”, is one of a number of developments in the area.
Plans to create 45 flats at a nearby high-rise office block were approved by the council in June.
Meanwhile, in April, a property developer announced “ambitious plans” for the former Debenhams building between Prospect Street and Ferensway, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
