The latest Super League attendances.
The attendances are in for Round 25 of Super League, with the competition’s two big derby clashes leading the way.
Over the Pennines, St Helens announced a sellout prior to their clash with Wigan Warriors, with 17,980 the official attendance at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday night as Wigan ran out 18-4 winners.
And in the City of Hull, 12,338 saw Hull KR take a giant leap in the race for the League Leaders Shield with an 18-4 win over Hull FC. The game was watched by 12,338 at Craven Park on Sunday afternoon, with Rovers now needing one more win to tie up their second piece of silverware this year.
Elsewhere, Warrington Wolves recorded a five-figure gate with 11,060 inside the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday afternoon. However, it was another tough day for the Wire, with Leigh Leopards running out 34-12 winners.
In West Yorkshire, Castleford Tigers produced the shock of the round, defeating Wakefield Trinity 26-22 at Wheldon Road on Friday night. The result blows the play-off race wide open, with Hull and Wakefield both going for the final spot with two rounds to go. Wakefield remain one point ahead of the Black and Whites.
At the Kirklees Stadium, Huddersfield Giants recorded a figure of 4,315 on Thursday night, with a strong away following from Leeds Rhinos seeing a 26-0 Rhinos win. The attendance for the Salford Red Devils-Catalans Dragons fixture wasn’t given, with Catalans running out 17-16 winners despite having Franck Maria sent off in the first half.
