A Heron Foods store which recently closed for refurbishment works has re-opened.

Staff at the shop, located in Cottingham, celebrated the new look by giving the first 100 customers vouchers on opening day. It will now stock chilled and frozen products across its food and drinks range.

There are limited-time deals in the ‘Don’t miss out section’ and the shop will also stock B&M products, as well as a ‘bigger range to shop’.

A spokesperson from Heron Foods said: “We’re thrilled to re-open with a new look store in Cottingham! We hope our new look Heron Foods store further adds to the local community and we were happy to hear positive comments from locals regarding the store and increase in range and in store experience.

“We’d also like to personally thank colleagues for their efforts in getting the new store ready as well as our neighbours who have shown support throughout.”
