The one-night tournament will see eight super-middleweights compete for a £25,000 cash prize

A one-night, eight-man boxing tournament is heading to Hull next month. GBM has unveiled the line-up for ‘The Heist’, which is set to take place at Connexin Live on Saturday, November 8.

Three undefeated prospects, four top 20 ranked super middleweights and a former national champion are among those confirmed for the tournament, which will also be broadcast live on DAZN. Among the eight British super-middleweights taking part in the tournament are former English champion Germaine Brown (14-3, 5 KOs), #6-ranked Steed Woodall (19-3-1, 12 KOs), South Area Champion James “Ozzy” Osborne (10-1, 2 KOs) and three undefeated prospects, including Essex’s Ellis Steward (12-0, 2 KOs).

GBM promoter Izzy Asif said: “There’s nothing more exciting than a one-night tournament – especially with a line-up this competitive. With four of Britain’s top 20 super-middleweights, three undefeated prospects and a former national champion all in the same bracket, it’s going to be a spectacular night of action on DAZN.”

Tournament bouts are scheduled for three rounds of three minutes each. Winners advance from the quarter-finals to the semi-finals, with the last two meeting in the grand final.

The tournament prize money increases at each stage and a £25,000 cash reward awaits the overall winner.
