Hull City have a host of players out on loan this season from one of Europe’s top leagues right down to the National League North.

City have been keen to get some of their youngsters out to get them vital experience of playing competitive football rather than just Under-21s, while at the other end of the spectrum, Abu Kamara left on deadline day earlier this month to enable the first team to bring in another player in Amir Hadziahmetovic.

Here, Hull Live takes a look at how City’s players are getting on…

Abu Kamara

The winger got his second outing for Getafe, coming off the bench at half-time in the 3-0 loss against Barcelona. Unfortunately for Kamara, the game was played at the tiny Johan Cruyff Stadium, rather than the Nou Camp, which still is not ready to host matches.

Kamara will hope for a first start for his new club on Wednesday night when the Deep Blue Ones face Alaves at home looking to maintain what has been a solid start to the season with three wins and two defeats from their opening five games.

Mason Burstow

Bolton’s solid start to the season continued on Saturday with a thumping 4-1 win over Wigan Athletic at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, and Burstow netted his fifth goal in the opening nine games of the League One season.

Burstow’s terrific turn and finish capped a fine half, which saw the Trotters 3-0 up before ex-Tigers loanee Marcus Forss grabbed his second after the break to make it 4-0.

The draw specialists are next in league action away at Northampton Town on Saturday, aiming for a fourth win of the campaign.

Harvey Cartwright

The 23-year-old goalkeeper was on the wrong end of Hartlepool’s 1-0 defeat on Saturday away at Aldershot Town, a result which left them ninth in the National League.

Prior to that, Cartwright’s form had been superb with six clean sheets in his opening nine games of the season. On Tuesday night, Pool have a local derby against Gateshead before hosting Tamworth on Saturday.

Matty Jacob

Jacob found himself on the Reading bench on Saturday after three successive league starts, but came off early in the second half to help the Royals to a 2-1 win over Leyton Orient at the SCL Stadium.

Since moving to Royal Berkshire, the 24-year-old has played eight times so far this season and picked up three yellow cards for his troubles.

Reading face Wrexham in North Wales on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup before a testing encounter away at Stockport County this weekend.

Zane Myers

The youngster only joined Scarborough Athletic last week but was thrust straight into the action on Saturday as the Seadogs held on to beat Oxford City.

Atrocious conditions in Bridlington greeted Myers when he came off the bench for Jonathan Greening’s side 83 minutes to help them see out a 1-0 win to move them second in National League North. His next encounter will be the trip to King’s Lynn Town on Saturday week.

Abdus Omur

Abdus played an hour of Antalyaspor’s 1-1 draw with Sergej Jakirovic’s former club, Kayserispor, on Saturday, backing up the 2-1 win at Samsunspor the week before, where he notched his sole assist of the campaign so far.

The playmaker has so far notched up 427 minutes of action in the Super Lig this season across six appearances and faces a big test this weekend. Abdus and his Antalyaspor teammates head to Istanbul to take on Fenerbahce on Sunday evening with a 6pm kick-off UK time.

Thimothee Lo-Tutala

On loan at Doncaster Rovers for a second spell under Grant McCann, the Frenchman made his ninth appearance on Saturday in a disappointing 2-1 home loss to AFC Wimbledon.

McCann was unhappy with the manner of the goals conceded by his side as they went down to a third reverse of the League One campaign.

City’s stopper has not played in the two Carabao Cup wins so far, but will hope that changes on Wednesday night when Rovers travel to London for a glamour tie at Tottenham Hotspur, which is followed by a trip to Luton Town this weekend.

Tyrell Sellars-Fleming

Twenty-year-old forward Sellars-Fleming is back at Scunthorpe and fresh from making his debut in the National League Cup defeat to Leeds United’s Under-21s last week he was back in National League action on Saturday.

The striker played 45 minutes in the thumping 4-0 win over Truro City at Glanford Park, which moved the Iron sixth in the table to maintain what has been a fine start to the season.

Rocco Coyle

The youngster played 10 minutes of Boston United’s 2-0 home defeat to Boreham Wood on Saturday in what was his eighth National League display of the season so far.
