Hull FC host Catalans on Thursday.
John Cartwright has made two changes to his Hull FC 21-man squad ahead of Thursday’s game against Catalans Dragons at the MKM Stadium. The Black and Whites take on Super League’s French side in the final round of the regular season, with victory taking them into the top six positions – at least for 24 hours – with Wakefield Trinity then heading to Salford Red Devils on Friday.
Meanwhile, Hull are boosted with two returns from suspension, with Amir Bouoruh and Yusuf Aydin both included after serving one-match bans. They replace Sam Eseh, who failed his HIA against Warrington Wolves last week and will sit out due to the sport’s head knock protocols, and Will Kirby.
Elsewhere, Denive Balmforth and Hugo Salabio keep their places after returning from loan spells to line up for Hull against the Wire. Cade Cust is also named. The half-back has been doing it tough in recent weeks, playing with an unspecified injury. However, he will be given every chance to prove he is fit enough to take his place.
Aidan Sezer is also included after coming off the field as a precaution last week. He joins the likes of Zak Hardaker, who has just won his third successive club Player of the Month award.
On the injury front, Hull also remain without Will Pryce (foot), Ed Chamberlain (hamstring), Herman Ese’ese (Achilles), Ligi Sao (knee), Jed Cartwright (pec), Liam Knight (foot), Will Hutchinson (ankle), and Roman Dawson (ACL). Jordan Rapana and Jack Ashworth remain suspended.
