Residents in Beverley are being asked for their views on plans to relocate the town’s police station.
The Humberside police and crime commissioner, Jonathan Evison, is proposing to move the existing services on New Walk to a dedicated office in County Hall.
Mr Evison said the move would benefit the police’s work with partners at the local council and NHS, who have recently moved to the site.
The commissioner said he wanted to know “what’s important to you”.
“Whether that be creating an easily accessible building, how you can get there by public transport, whether you want space to speak in private to the police, or if 24/7 access is your priority for example,” Mr Evison added.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, the commissioner said the aim of the move was to create somewhere visible and accessible for local people to use.
The public survey is available through My Community Alerts and takes five minutes to complete.
