Joe Burgess has been left out again of Hull KR’s squad for today’s game with Wakefield Trinity.

Burgess missed last week’s win over Hull FC after pulling out in the captain’s run with a tight calf but was expected to be recalled today. However, that hasn’t been the case, with Oliver Gildart returning to the side for the first time in four months in what is Rovers’ only change.

Gildart takes the centre role and Jack Broadbent goes to the wing, with Noah Booth the player to drop out after his try-scoring performance against the Black and Whites last week.

That is the only change to Willie Peters’ side, with everything else remaining the same. There have been no amendments positionally or in personnel, with Jared Waerea-Hargreaves reamining in the starting role and Dean Hadley being utilised initially in the back-row.

Eribe Doro and Bill Leyland retain their places on the bench.
