House to house and CCTV enquiries are ongoing

A scene guard is currently in place on Spring Bank in Hull, Humberside Police confirmed. It follows reports of a ‘serious assault’ last night.

The force said that work is ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and to identify those involved. As part of this, house to house and CCTV enquiries are taking place.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers are currently in attendance and a scene guard is in place on Spring Bank in Hull. Officers responded to reports of a serious assault on Spring Bank at around 12am last night (Thursday, 11 September).

“A scene guard has been put in place to allow officers to conduct lines of enquiries. Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances around the incident and identify those involved, including house to house and CCTV enquiries.

“We would appeal to anyone with any information, CCTV, or dashcam footage that may assist with ongoing enquiries to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 576 of 11 September. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous you can also report via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
