Hull City’s squad list for the first half of the Championship season has been confirmed by the EFL after a frantic summer of change at the MKM Stadium.

All twelve new signings have been ratified by the league, with deadline day arrivals Darko Gyabi and Amir Hadziahmetovic both included in the 24-man squad, with the former Leeds United midfielder part of the Under-21 contracted players.

There’s no place in the squad for left-back James Furlong, while Eliot Matazo is on the list with City hoping he’ll be fit to return to action from his ACL injury around Christmastime.

Incoming academy signing Joao Mendes, the son of ex-Barcelona star Ronaldinho, is one of the eye-catching inclusions on the Under-21 contracted list, along with the likes of Pharrel Brown, Tyrell Sellars-Fleming, Cathal McCarthy, Nathan Tinsdale and Harry Vaughan, all of whom impressed during pre-season.
