The dust has now settled on what was a frantic summer of change at Hull City; a new manager, a raft of new players and the small matter of transfer restrictions imposed on them by the EFL.

As many as 12 new players have arrived, coupled with a host moving on, means the Tigers squad has a very different flavour as we head into September.

New head coach Sergej Jakirovic has been given an army of new signings to integrate into his squad, despite the club being unable to buy players or pay loan fees, under the terms of their sanctions from the EFL.

Since owner Acun Ilicali bought the club in January 2022, City have been one of the busiest Championship clubs in the transfer market, as the Tigers look to find the magic formula that sees them return to the Premier League, signing 75 players in that period.
