It offers an adrenaline-fueled challenge for anyone wanting to make a difference
People from a local charity are proving their bravery as they prepare for a Halloween abseil. Taking place at Princes Quay Shopping Centre, the event promises a thrilling experience for participants aged 10 and over, and a spectacle not to be missed for those watching.
The unique fundraiser aims to raise vital funds to continue the Special Stars Foundation’s life changing work supporting disabled children, young people and adults, along with their families, across the region. The charity began in 2014 and have made it their mission to help reduce social isolation with individuals of any age with any disability or special educational need.
Special Stars Foundation help these individuals to build confidence, learn new skills and form lasting relationships. The charity aim is to offer experiences to service users, along with their families, that may not otherwise be able to experience.
The Halloween Abseil, taking place on October 30, is open to all abilities, offering an adrenaline-fueled challenge for anyone wanting to make a difference while taking in views from one of Hull’s most recognisable buildings.
