A woman has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed at a house in Hull. Police were called to a property in De Grey Street late on Tuesday evening (September 9).

It is reported that a man “sustained a stab wound following an alleged altercation between a man and a woman” at around 11.10pm, police say. A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Officers were immediately deployed to the scene.

“Following lines of enquiries a 54-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempt wounding with intent and remains in police custody, assisting with enquiries at this time.

“A 42-year-old man is believed to have sustained minor injuries to his shoulder as a result of the altercation.”
