Isabella Norrison/BBCA Hull road has been closed after a lorry struck a railway bridge.
It is the second time a large vehicle has struck the bridge on Stoneferry Road this year.
The road is closed between Foster Street to Woodhall Street, according to traffic monitoring site Inrix.
In February, another incident led to Hull East MP Karl Turner calling for “urgent action”.
