Hull KR host Hull FC on Sunday afternoon.
The kick-off time for Sunday’s Hull derby between Hull KR and Hull FC at Craven Park has been pushed back. The Robins host the Airlie Birds in the third meeting between the two sides this season. However, it will now kick off at the slightly later time of 3:05 pm.
The Hull derby was originally scheduled to kick off five minutes earlier at 3.00 pm, with the fixture moved due to the testing of the government’s Emergency Alert System.
The two clubs said in a statement: “The government will send a message at 3.00 pm which will sound a loud alarm on all 4G and 5G phones and tablets throughout the UK – even if they are set on silent.
“To help awareness of the government’s test and to avoid disruption to the live Sky Sports coverage from Craven Park, the official kick-off time for the Round 25 Super League fixture has been amended to 3.05 pm.”
Hull KR could win the Super League League Leaders Shield with victory over Hull FC. However, they need St Helens to beat Wigan Warriors on Friday night first. The Robins have topped the table for the majority of the season and currently sit four points clear of Wigan with three rounds to go.
Meanwhile, Hull are in seventh place, one point behind Wakefield Trinity, who hold the final play-off spot.
