BBCResidents who were evacuated following the discovery of suspected explosive materials at a home in Beverley have been allowed to return to their houses.
Officers were called to Watts Road at about 08:30 BST on Friday to reports of an altercation between three men and discovered a number of weapons.
A 100m (328ft) cordon was put in place and police told people to avoid the area, with those evacuated able to return to their properties in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Humberside Police said a 35-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor injuries, with a 54-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault.
A 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an explosive substance and remained in custody, police said.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Enquiries continue and a scene guard remains in place around the property to allow officers to establish the full circumstances.
“Thank you to all our residents and those in the local area for their continued patience, assistance and understanding whilst all necessary precautions were taken to ensure the safety of our communities.”
