Hull FC host Leeds Rhinos on Saturday afternoon.
John Cartwright has made two changes to his Hull FC squad to take on Leeds Rhinos this Saturday afternoon. The Black and Whites host the Rhinos at the MKM Stadium, with Liam Watts back in the fold after passing his return to play protocols following a failed HIA.
The prop forward is joined by teenage half-back Callum Kemp, who is named alongside twin brother Lloyd Kemp for the first time at this level.
Jed Cartwright drops out after his season-ending pectoral injury was confirmed on Wednesday. Sam Eseh also makes way after a hamstring injury ruled him out of the St Helens game last week. He could make his return against Hull KR next week.
Elsewhere, Aidan Sezer is named. The half-back has been battling a shoulder issue – something that is affecting his ability to train. However, he is included in the squad, having made his return at St Helens after two games out.
Jordan Rapana also takes his place. The Kiwi made his return to action last week from a head issue, as did Ed Chamberlain. Brad Fash also keeps his place after overcoming a hamstring injury.
Matty Laidlaw is also included. The young prop impressed at Saints and joins fellow young guns Lewis Martin, Harvey Barron, Davy Litten, and Logan Moy in the squad. Will Gardiner too is named.
Zak Hardaker is set to make his 400th career appearance, while the likes of Herman Ese’ese, Tom Briscoe, Cade Cust and co. are all included.
On the injury front, Cartwright and Eseh are joined by Will Pryce (foot), Ligi Sao (knee), John Asiata (hamstring), Liam Knight (ankle), Will Hutchinson (ankle), and Will Kirby (unknown).
