The waiting is done and patience has paid off for Coldplay fans waiting outside Sewell Group Craven Park.
They may have had their much sought-after tickets for months but now the moment is almost nigh, as the gates have been opened and now everyone is making their way through the various numbered channels into the east Hull stadium.
After ticket and bag checks, and picking up their interactive LED bracelets that will form part of the immersive show experience, the concertgoers will then be free to roam the fan village that is Craven Streat. It’s the place to eat and drink where plenty of choice has been laid on at the variety of concessions – with a bumper-sized bar taking up one side of the area.
Hull Live photographer Donna Clifford has been taking fans’ pictures as the queues start to move towards the entrance to the stadium that in just a few hours’ time will be filled with the sights and sounds of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres show.
If last night’s concert is anything to go by, the set list will be packed with back-to-back hits for the audience to enjoy, plus some exciting effects to add to the experience.
