It’s been another eventful day at Hull City with the club confirming that they had been informed of the outcome of their appeal against a three-window ban on buying players.

The Tigers have seen that appeal prove partially successful. An independent reduced it from three to two, with the third suspended pending further breaches of the rules relating to transfer payments.

City can still sign players between now and when the initial punishment expires at the end of the winter transfer window, but those players have to be free transfers or loan signings where no fee is paid.

Given there are so many questions from supporters, Tigers reporter Barry Cooper hosted a Q&A on Tuesday in a bid to answer questions about where things stand.
