The air is buzzing with anticipation as Coldplay fans lucky enough to secure tickets for the first out of two concerts in Hull have arrived at Sewell Group Craven Park.
Though locals were given priority access to tickets last year, Coldplay fans have come from across the country to see the show, and some have even travelled from overseas. They are all joined through their love for one of the world’s most successful bands.
Tickets have sold out for the entire Music Of The Spheres World Tour which finishes in London next month, so fans are aware of just how special the night will be as they prepare to be blown away by the combined musical prowess of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion.
Hull was the only venue to be chosen outside London for the UK, and for many fans it is their first time visiting the city. Roads have already been closed around the venue and we have a live blog running for Coldplay gig updates.
