Customers at Regents will be able to look a cut above 24/7 if they sign up for the salon’s monthly membership
A swish new hair salon with a difference is set to open in Beverley soon – offering unlimited haircut memberships. Regents is poised to open its doors to customers in North Bar Within in Beverley – the former site of The Modern Draper – aimed at those who want to maintain a polished, salon-fresh look all year round, for a monthly fee.
The new hair cutting and styling business has been launched by renowned hair stylist Max Nicholson, who is preparing for a launch this autumn. Max says he has styled the hair of many prominent figures in the area and now wants to move away from the traditional salon model.
He revealed Regents will operate on a predominantly membership-based system, allowing men and women to enjoy unlimited hair cuts and styling appointments each month. The innovative move means members can always look and feel their best without the hassle and expense of multiple individual appointments.
Memberships for Regents will cost £99 a month, but non members can also visit and pay £65 for an individual haircut. Max said the salon is committed to providing a luxurious experience, so the unit is currently being designed and fitted out with the finest finishes, to create a sophisticated and welcoming environment.
As well as unlimited appointments, the membership package will be full of perks, including complimentary refreshments, guest passes for friends and family, and exclusive member pricing on premium hair care products.
Max says Regents will be actively seeking collaborations with other local businesses, to partner with nearby cafes, boutiques, and wellness studios to provide members with even more exclusive perks and special offers. The initiative aims to boost the value of a Regents membership, but also support and strengthen the local economy, creating a network of benefits that celebrates the best of what Beverley has to offer.
Interest in the concept has been strong so far, with people signing up to hear about the launch and the membership concept. It has also triggered new job creation, with Regents expanding its team sooner than originally planned to meet expected demand.
Max said: “Beverley has a strong community of people who rightly care about their appearance and appreciate high-quality services. Regents is for them – it’s an experience, not just a haircut.
“We want to empower our members to maintain their style effortlessly, ensuring they always have that confidence that comes with a fresh look.”
News of the salon comes in the week after we reported how Beverley Races welcomed thousands of racegoers who were putting on the style for the fashion showdown.
