More than 100 heritage events will be held across East Yorkshire.
The free open days will take place in multiple villages and towns, including Beverley and Hornsea, from 12 to 21 September.
A spokesperson for East Riding of Yorkshire Council urged visitors to book in advance as events often fill up quickly.
Councillor Nick Coultish said the open days were a “great chance to learn about local history and culture”.
