Peacefully in Sluis, The Netherlands, on July 23, 2025, aged 85 years. Son of the late Jack and Mary, loved husband of Marcella, brother of Paul and his wife Val and watchful uncle of Ben and Wendy. Well remembered by members of the Richardson and Hardaker families. A distinguished teacher who taught at the Hull Nautical College, South Hunsley and Withernsea. Went on to a successful career in Brussels where he was the founding chief executive officer of the European Foundation Centre. Funeral Services have taken place in the Netherlands.
