The Robins toppled the Tigers 36-6.
Hull KR remain top of Super League by four points after defeating Castleford Tigers 36-6. Joe Burgess’ hat-trick was the key as the Robins secured their 18th league win of the season. Here are the player ratings.
Jack Broadbent – 8: Had some shaky defensive moments but more than made up for it in attack.
Tom Davies – 7: Made big metres for the team. Has a really important role to play.
Peta Hiku – 7: Rovers’ most dangerous player in the first 40 minutes. Faded in the second.
James Batchelor – 6: Grew into the role as he went on and had a decent game.
Joe Burgess – 9: Excellent again. A hat-trick of tries but his performance was built around much more than that. Dream Team beckons.
Arthur Mourgue – 6: Took a while to get into the swing of things but settled as the game went on.
Mikey Lewis – 6: Stifled by a shoulder injury in the first half but still ended up scoring a try.
Sauaso Sue – 7: Solid as a rock. Helped suffocate the Tigers.
Micky McIlorum – 6: Did his job with no fuss.
Jai Whitbread – 7: Watch how many second efforts he makes. Team-mates love him for it.
Dean Hadley – 7: Topped the tackle count to the surprise of nobody.
Rhyse Martin – 7: Another try and a big defensive effort.
Elliot Minchella – 7: Looked energetic here and was involved on both sides of the ball.
Jez Litten – 8: Oozed class. Picked his moments to attack well and got a try.
Sam Luckley – 6: Didn’t get as long as usual due to a nasty head gash.
Eribe Doro – 6: People spot the eye-catching runs off the back fence. But defended better than in previous appearances.
Kelepi Tanginoa – 6: Steady enough. Will feel he should have scored in the first half.
