Hull KR half-back Tyrone May has been suspended for two matches after ‘questioning the integrity of a match official’. The incident happened during Rovers’ 74-12 victory at Salford Red Devils last Thursday night, with the Aussie now set to miss the Robins’ games against Castleford Tigers and Wigan Warriors.

May, who was sin-binned during the game, has been handed a Grade D charge by the RFL’s Match Review Panel, which carries 12 penalty points. That puts the half-back in the threshold for an automatic two-match ban, with the player’s season total standing at 13 points.

Elsewhere, Hull KR hooker Michael McIllorum has also been charged. The hooker has been handed a Grade A head contact charge and has been issued one penalty point. There are also charges for Matt Frawley, Brodie Croft, Ryan Matterson, and Tesi Niu.
