Passed away suddenly on 13th June 2025. Aged 8 years. A treasured Son, Grandson and Brother. Service and Interment will be held at the Eastern Cemetery on Friday, 15th August 2025 at 10.00am. Flowers welcome or donations for the British Heart Foundation may be left at the service.
Passed away peacefully on 23rd July 2025, aged 73 years. Much loved partner of Kate, a loved Dad to Jane and Lynn. Loving Father in law, Stepdad, Brother, Grandad and Great Grandad. Sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Funeral service to be held on Monday 11th August, 1.30pm at Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium (Large Chapel). No flowers please but donations for Dove House Hospice may be left at the service.
Passed away peacefully on Friday 25th July 2025 aged 93 in Hull Royal Infirmary. Loving husband of the late Olga. Dear father of Darren, Spencer and the late Lionel, Kevin and Gavin. (Jim) Passed away in Hull Royal Infirmary on 18th July 2025, aged 96 years. Dearly loved and loving Husband of Marlene, Dad to Dave, In-law Donna, dearly loved and best friend to Step-Son John, In-law Karen, Grandchildren Nikki and Rachel, dear Great-Grandpa to Mia and Ace (Pops). He lit up everyone’s lives who knew him. No one could be more loved and cherished. Sleep well Fos. It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the death of Denise Gregory (nee Harrington, previously Bass). Denise passed away at home on Friday 11th July surrounded by her family and friends just as she wished. Cherished wife of Geoff, mother of Stephen and Joanne, Grandma to Louise, Jennifer and Thomas. Step Mum to Lisa and Gill. Treasured friend to countless others. She leaves behind the happiest of memories that will be held close forever. A private cremation was held on 24th July and in accordance with Denise’s wishes. A celebration for family and friends will be held at Springhead Golf Club in late August. Forever in our hearts. Forever missed.
Passed away unexpectedly. Son of Tony and the late Pam, brother to Louise, brother-in-law to Mike, uncle to Kelly and Ben. Resting at Hortons Funeral Directors, Spring Bank West. Sadly missed by us all every day, we will remember you going here, there and everywhere riding your green e bike, feeding pigeons, crows, stray cats and foxes along the way. (Walker) Passed away at Sycamore House Care Home aged 88 years, last survivor of 5 brothers and 1 sister. You fought so hard for so long, it’s now time for you to rest with your beloved husband Arthur (Arty) and daughter Julie. Mum to Susan and Dawn, Nana to 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Service will be held on Monday 4th August at Haltemprice Crematorium at 12:30 and afterwards at the Lodge, Saltshouse Road to celebrate Shirley’s life where all will be welcome. Donations for MIND would be gratefully received in memory of their mum and to be left at the service.
