Motorcyclist dies in country road crash

A man has died following a crash near Withernsea in East Yorkshire.

Emergency services were called to reports of a crash involving a BMW motorbike and white Toyota Yaris on the B1362 in Halsham at about 19:00 BST on Thursday.

The motorcyclist, aged 27, died at the scene, Humberside Police said.

His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Police are appealing for anyone who has dashcam footage from around the time of the crash to get in touch.
