A motorcycle rider sadly died in a crash on a major Hull road late on Thursday evening.
The tragic incident took place on Stoneferry Road at around 10pm. Humberside Police say a grey Vauxhall Meriva and a blue Suzuki GSX motorcycle were involved in the collision.
A spokesperson added: “Emergency services attended – however the rider the motorcycle, a 42-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers at this time.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time and witnessed the collision, or anyone who has any dashcam or CCTV footage, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 573 of 19 June.”
