A 27-year-old motorcyclist has sadly died in a crash in East Yorkshire.

Humberside Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information after the fatal collision on the B1362 between Halsham and Burstwick at around 6.55pm on Thursday (June 19).

Officers were called to reports that a BMW S 1000 motorcycle and a white Toyota Yaris had been involved in a collision at Eastholme Bridge.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended the scene, however the motorcycle rider, a 27-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers at this time.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the collision who has information or dashcam footage that may assist our enquiries to please contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 475 of 19 June.”
