New Hull City signing Reda Laalaoui says it’s a dream fulfilled to get the chance to play in England after signing a long-term contract with the Tigers.

The highly-rated Moroccan midfielder has agreed a four-year contract at the MKM Stadium with the option of a fifth after the club agreed a deal with Fath Union Sport to bring the 24-capped Under-20 international to the Championship.

City are thought to be paying in the region of £400,000 to secure the 20-year-old’s signature, though the club have described the deal as undisclosed.

It’s expected the dynamic box-to-box midfielder will initially be involved in the first team setup at City and will be part of the travelling party that heads out to Istanbul for the club’s pre-season training camp next month.

“I am really happy to join Hull City. It is a historic club in England, and I am looking forward to helping the team and making the
supporters happy,” he told the club.

“It’s a well-known team in England, and one of my dreams was to play in England. As you know, it’s one of the best leagues in the world, and I am here to improve myself, and it’s important for my development.

“I always work hard for the team, and I play with a lot of grit. I always play to win, and I am here to win. I am looking forward to seeing the fans at the MKM Stadium and I will do my best to make them happy.”
