Humberside Police said that they believe there was a sighting of Sam on Thursday

Police are continuing to search for missing Sam from Hull as the force has issued an update this evening (Monday, November 10).

In a statement, Humberside Police said they now believe there was a sighting of the 24-year-old around Axholme Court on Plimsoll Way on Victoria Dock in Hull. This was believed to be at approximately 12.10pm on Thursday, November 6.

Leading the search, Chief Inspector Owen Stafford said: “We understand how distressing this is for Sam’s family and friends, who we continue to keep updated as the investigation progresses and we do everything we can to try and find him. Over the course of the last four days, we have been conducting extensive enquiries to locate Sam, and our teams have been reviewing hours of CCTV footage and conducting house-to-house enquiries in the areas we now believe him to have last been seen.

“We have also been carrying out targeted searches in key areas with support from specialist trained search officers, and the Underwater Search Unit. We are still appealing to the public and we are keen to speak to any pedestrians or motorists who were in the area of Plimsoll Way and Victoria Dock, between 11.45am and 12.45pm on Thursday, 6 November, and who may have seen Sam or captured him on CCTV or dashcam footage to please get in contact.

“We are grateful for the continued support from the public and urge anyone with information, no matter how small, to contact us on 101 quoting log 390 of 6 November.” Family and friends are also searching for 5ft 7in Sam, who was wearing brown jogging bottoms, black walking boots and a black jacket with a hood.
