Officers found the plants at a property down De La Pole Avenue

A cannabis grow with a street value of around £25,000 has been found at a house in west Hull. Police carried out a warrant at the property down De La Pole Avenue on Monday morning (October 27).

Officers from Humberside Police‘s Kinetic Intervention Team went to the house at around 8.30am. On entering, they discovered 50 cannabis plants.

A scene guard was put in place at the time to allow Crime Scene Investigators to attend, and for officers to dismantle the grow. A police spokesperson added: “Enquiries remain ongoing to identify those involved, if you have any information that may assist with our investigation, please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference 25*150126.

“Alternatively, if you wish to report anonymously, you can do so via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
