The Super League fixtures will be released next month.
The fixtures for the 2026 Super League season will be revealed on Thursday, 27 November, with Hull FC and Hull KR set to learn their fate.
Of course, the competition will expand to 14 teams next season, with three new sides – Bradford Bulls, Toulouse Olympique, and York Knights – promoted to the top flight. Salford Red Devils drop out after finishing 15th in IMG’s club gradings.
That sees Bradford return to Super League after a 12-year hiatus. Elsewhere, Toulouse will enter their second season in the big time after their 2022 debut, whereas York will play in the summer era competition for the first time.
As reported by Hull Live on Tuesday, the new Super League season will begin on the weekend of February 14-15 – one week after the third round of the Challenge Cup. All top-flight sides will play a cup tie away from home on the weekend of February 7-8 to kickstart their competitive campaigns.
An eight-team play-off system looks set to be introduced for the first time since 2014, with the Magic Weekend, as first reported by Hull Live sister title All Out Rugby League, looking likely to hit the scrap pile.
As for the latest odds, Wigan Warriors are the current favourites to win Super League next year. They are priced at 2/1 with BetVictor, with Hull KR second favourites at 9/4 to retain the crown they won at Old Trafford earlier this October. Leeds Rhinos are then third at 6/1 with St Helens at 7/1. Leigh Leopards and Warrington both come in at 12/1, with Hull FC priced at 14/1.
Interestingly, Bradford Bulls are the current favourites to finish bottom of Super League next year. They finished third in the 2025 Championship behind York and Toulouse. The Bulls are priced at 2/1 to finish last. Toulouse are next in line to finish bottom at 11/4, while York are 3/1.
