
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision at Cottingham
Humberside Police has appealed for witnesses following reports of a collision in which a 51-year-old man was seriously hurt. The incident happened on the B1233 Baynard Avenue in Cottingham at around 12.30pm yesterday afternoon (Monday, October 6).
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “It is reported a car and cyclist were in collision at the Castle Hill roundabout. The cyclist, a 51-year-old man, was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
“If anyone witnessed the collision or has any dashcam from around the time it occurred, please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 239 of 6 October.”
