Rick and Zoe Roberts celebrate triple honours at prestigious industry event
A husband-and-wife hairdressing duo from Beverley have taken home a triple award win at a landmark event for the industry. Rick and Zoe Roberts won North Eastern Hairdresser of the Year, British Afro Hairdresser of the Year, and Image of the Year, at the British Hairdressing Awards.
In a defining moment of their careers, Rick and Zoe were inducted into the prestigious British Hairdressing Hall of Fame, after scooping the three major national accolades in one evening. The awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, made a spectacular return to the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, in London.
The event brought together the finest talents in the industry for an evening of red-carpet glamour, creativity and celebration. Rick and Zoe’s were among the night’s most outstanding achievements.
The couple, who own and operate their acclaimed Rick Roberts salon at Flemingate in Beverley, received their honours from presenter and former hairdresser Rylan Clark, officially joining the ranks of the industry’s most celebrated and influential professionals. Rick said: “To my team and my parents, thank you so much.
“And to Mason and Xander – nothing is impossible. We’ve created a story for you to tell your kids one day.
