A 71-year-old woman has suffered serious injuries after the car she was travelling in was involved in a crash with a police car.
Humberside Police confirmed the incident happened on Roger Millward Way, Hull, at about 16:00 GMT on 23 November as an officer responded to an emergency call.
The woman, a passenger in a silver Vauxhall Astra, was taken to hospital with a chest injury. She is now recovering at home.
A mandatory referral has been made by the force to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
