Another fresh departure from Hull KR.

Hull KR have confirmed the departure of academy product Leo Tennison to take up a new opportunity at a rival Super League club ahead of the 2026 season.

The young prop progressed through the club’s pathway, making his official first-team debut during the 2023 campaign against Wigan Warriors at the Brick Community Stadium. He was also named on the interchange bench in the 26-14 Challenge Cup quarter-final win over Leigh Leopards in 2024.

Tennison featured regularly for the club’s reserves outfit, while also gaining first-team experience on loan with Featherstone Rovers and Goole Vikings.

Commenting on the departure, head coach Willie Peters said: “On behalf of the club, we wish Leo all the very best for the future and thank him for his efforts throughout his time at Hull KR.”

While 10 departures were confirmed following the conclusion of the 2025 Super League campaign, Tennison becomes the latest player to leave Sewell Group Craven Park since. Prop Eribe Doro has returned to Bradford Bulls following their promotion to Super League after more than a decade, while full-back Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e has joined Joel Tomkins’ Catalans Dragons.
