BBCA 12-year-old girl is being treated for serious injuries after being hit by a car in Hull, police have said.
Emergency services were called to Holderness Road at about 07:45 GMT after reports that a Mercedes had struck a pedestrian near to a crossing between Bilton and Diadem roundabouts.
The girl’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, officers said.
Humberside Police said a 26-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
