Humberside Police has issued an update after an attempted murder investigation was launched yesterday (October 25).

Police said that it comes after reports of a disturbance at a property down Broadley Close in Hull where a man was allegedly stabbed yesterday morning.

In an update issued today (Sunday, October 26), a spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Peter Lesko, 48 years-old of Broadley Close in Hull has been charged with attempted murder. He has been remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Monday, 27 October 2025).”
