The comedian will revisit some of his favourite characters including Stavros and Loadsamoney

Veteran comedy star Harry Enfield is set to bring his new show to Hull in 2026. Harry Enfield: And No Chums! will come to Hull City Hall on November 12 next year.

The show will see the return of some of his most beloved characters from the iconic programme, including kebab champion Stavros and Loadsamoney. This unique evening with the self-styled “stupid idiot” will chart his career from the rapid rise of Loadsamoney to the rage of Kevin the Teenager.

Harry will reflect on his 40-year comedy career and bring some of his favourite characters back to life on stage. The audience will also have the opportunity to ask questions about his work, what he’s most proud of, and how he responds to those who say: “You wouldn’t be allowed to do your stuff today, would you?”

Harry got attention on Saturday Live in the mid-1980s and his career reached new heights with the BBC series Harry Enfield’s Television Programme (later titled Harry Enfield and Chums) in 1990, co-created with Paul Whitehouse, featuring a roster of now-iconic characters such as Kevin the Teenager, Tim Nice-But-Dim, and The Scousers.

Beyond sketch comedy, he has acted in sitcoms like Men Behaving Badly (as Dermot in the first series) and The Windsors, in which he played Prince (later King) Charles. He’s also worked extensively as a voice actor, writer, and director, often collaborating with long-time partners Whitehouse and Kathy Burke.

Harry’s sharp social satire and ability to embody British archetypes have made him one of the most enduring figures in UK comedy since the 1980s.
