A scene guard was in place while officers dismantled the grow

A cannabis grow worth nearly £160,000 was found in a property down a west Hull street. Officers from Humberside Police‘s Kinetic Intervention Team carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at the address in Glencoe Street, off Anlaby Road, on Thursday morning.

A “large quantity of cannabis plants” were found inside with an “estimated value of £159,500”. Police put a scene guard in place while crime scene investigators attended and officers dismantled the grow.

A police spokesperson added: “Enquiries remain ongoing to identify those involved, if you have any information that may assist with our investigation, please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 95 of 23 October.

“Alternatively, if you wish to report anonymously, you can do so via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
