Hull FC have confirmed a 34-strong scholarship squad for 2026.
Hull FC have signed up 15 new players to their scholarship squad for the 2026 season. The club unveiled their latest intake at the MKM Stadium over the summer, with the players joining the current first years to create a 34-strong squad.
The likes of Kingsley Sharpe and the Last twins, Isaac and Jacob, will progress into their second year of scholarship with a new crop forming below. Meanwhile, the latest intake are made up of players from familiar community clubs West Hull, East Hull, Skirlaugh, and Myton Warriors, not to mention East Yorkshire-based clubs Beverley Braves and Holderness Vikings. Further afield, Hull have also recruited new scholars from York Acorn.
Hull FC ’s new Player Development Manager, Jack Lazenby, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome this new intake of talented young players for 2026. This group represents some of the most promising rugby league talent in the region, and we’re excited to support their development both on and off the field.
“I’d like to thank our Junior Talent Identification staff, in particular Paul Devonshire and Dean Reacher, for their continued hard work in recognising and recruiting these young players, as well as the coaches at their local amateur clubs and their schools who’ve all played a vital role in their development to this point.
“The work done at grassroots level is the foundation of everything we do, and we’re proud to continue that journey here at Hull FC. The Scholarship Programme continues to be a crucial part of Hull FC’s player development model, with several current first-team, Academy and College Development Academy players having come through the same system.
“The club remains committed to investing in local talent and ensuring that our young athletes are given every opportunity to fulfil their potential.”
